What We Do
About Families teams children with special health care needs and their families with experienced, licensed clinical staff and dedicated family service coordinators with the goal of creating and implementing comprehensive plans of care that address the needs of the child, and the family as a whole.
We are committed to the ideal that to be truly successful a family not only needs to be active, but be a leading voice in the care for their child. We continually strive to approach needs from a strength based, family perspective when developing treatment plans and connecting families with community and treatment based providers.
We support families as they navigate the numerous systems of care that are available to help their children. We work closely with schools, doctors, hospitals, and home based treatment providers in coordinating care for families and providing individualized support as they progress through the process of obtaining treatment and maintaining treatment goals.
